This conference was an exciting opportunity for volunteer tutors and facilitators, as well as educators, working in the Downtown Eastside community to connect with one another. Small group discussions allowed participants to share and hear different experiences and ideas about how to support adult learning in the Downtown Eastside.

This workshop series aimed to provide educators and volunteer tutors working in the Downtown Eastside community with an opportunity for professional development around supporting learners and learning differences. Each workshop in the series was presented by practitioners who hold a wealth of experience and knowledge in working with a diversity of learners and learning differences.
